This took me an unreasonably long amount of time. Probably because I kept redoing everything. I mean, it is the first time I used GIMP to do a picture.

Actually, I'm kinda proud. Because this piece is like... Mine ;w; I drew it by hand with absolutely no references or anything! This is a milestone for me you guys

Anyways

The title is stolen from a book, a book that I really want to read, about Britain and France, and their love-hate relationship. It's an unoriginal title but I thought it fit XD

On the original pencil-drawing in my sketchbook, I have dialogue in it:
"Francis?"
"Oui?"
"...I bloody hate you, you know that?"
"You wound me, Angleterre."

Again, this is my first serious digital art pic, so there's flaws in it, yes. I'm especially unhappy about the hair. Constructive criticism, PLEASE. I want to know what's wrong with the picture and how to fix it.
